Learn how to properly fix the Unhandled Exception Error on your TAS Launch Pad
THE PROBLEM: When attempting to login to the TAS Launch Pad, an Unhandled Exception error pop up and can't proceed with the authorization.
THE CAUSE: This happens sometimes when Windows makes an update and affected some programs installed in the system. When you login to the TAS Launch Pad it creates a corrupted folder cache and when it tries to recheck it and can't identify the information it gives you an unhandled exception error. Deleting those folders will fix this.
THE CURE: Follow the step-by-step instructions provided below to delete the TAS Launch Pad cache folders and resolve the login issue.
Quick Guide
STEP 1: Press the Windows + R keys and this will pop up the Run command window
STEP 2: In the run command text field, type in %localappdata% and press OK.
This will open the Appdata Local folder.
STEP 3: In the Appdata Local folder, scroll down and open the Microsoft folder.
STEP 4: After opening the Microsoft folder, scroll down and look for the folders named with prefix as TAS_Launch_Pad.exe and a gibberish suffix as shown below.
STEP 5: Highlight all of those folders and then delete all of them. When done, try to start the TAS Launch Pad, and then type in your login credentials. After hitting login this will not show you that you're Authorized without the error showing.
