How to set up alerts in TradingView for TAS Boxes?

Setting up an alert for TAS Boxes is pretty easy in TradingView. You can set an alert when price is crossing the Top HVA, POC, or the Bottom LVA.

*For instance, we want to create an alert when the price crosses down the Boxes Top HVA.

To do that:

1. Open the Create Alert window by clicking the 'Alert' button on the top toolbar.

 

NOTE: You can also access it easily by pressing the hotkeys: ALT + A (Windows) or ⌥ + A (Mac).

 

2. In the Settings tab, set the parameters on the following.

 

A. Set to Crossing Down.

B. Set to TAS Boxes + TAS Vega + TAS Compass TV 1...

C. Set to Boxes Top HVA

D. Set whether an alert will be triggered only once or multiple times.

E. Set your expiration date when the alert will automatically turn off.

F. Name your alert which will be shown in the alerts manager for easy identification. 

G. Create your message that will be shown when the alert is triggered.

 

 

3. Click the Notification tab and set your notification options by clicking the checkbox to be notified when your alerts are triggered. You can select by notifying you on the app, shows the notification pop up, sending to your email, and/or playing a sound alert.

 

 

4. When done, click Create and you just now created your alert.
