Learn how to be able to run TAS Indicators on eSignal 21 after upgrade
THE PROBLEM: After upgrading to eSignal 21, I started the platform and the TAS indicators are not loaded in the charts and getting some errors. When re-adding the TAS indicators, there is no TASIndicators folder and the TAS indicators are not on the list.
THE CAUSE: eSignal 21 directory location for your templates and indicators are now located on a different folder which is under your Documents\ICE eSignal folder instead of the previous folder 'Interactive Data'. The folder is located sample below.
C:\Users\<your PC name>\Documents\ICE eSignal
Since the folder changed, the TAS indicators loaded in your charts will give you an error due to it can't find the TAS files under 'ICE eSignal' folder.
THE CURE: Follow the step-by-step instructions provided below to copy and paste the TASIndicators folder from the old eSignal folder at 'Interactive Data' to your new eSignal 21 folder at 'ICE eSignal' folder.
Quick Guide
STEP 1: Go to your old eSignal 12 version folder at Documents > Interactive Data > Formulas folder.
STEP 2: Click TASIndicators folder and then copy by pressing 'CTRL + C' or you can right-click the folder and select 'Copy'. Picture shown below.
