Learn how to properly install TAS Indicators on Tradovate.
THE PROBLEM: When attempting to add the TAS Indicators to the chart, the Tradovate platform generates a "Please check TAS. Cannot access TASIndicators.dll: Dynamic Linking Error:Win32 error 126." error message.
THE CAUSE: During installation of the TAS Indicators, the installer version did not match the Tradovate platform 'Bit' version (32-bit or 64-bit)
THE CURE: Follow the step-by-step instructions provided below to reinstall the TAS Indicators matching the Tradovate version.
STEP 1: Verify your Tradovate platform 'Bit-ness' version (32-bit or 64-bit) by reading this article https://tasmarketprofile.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018814532-How-do-I-know-what-version-32-bit-or-64-bit-of-Tradovate-is-running-on-my-computer-
STEP 2: When you have confirmed the 'Bit' version, go to the download page of the TAS Indicators for Tradovate here https://www.marketprofileindicators.com/tradovate_install
STEP 3: From STEP 2, if you have the 32-bit Tradovate version, please download 32-Bit TAS Indicators installer.
On the other hand, if you have 64-bit Tradovate version, please download 64-Bit TAS Indicators installer.
STEP 4: When you have the installer, reinstall the TAS Indicators and follow the on-screen instruction on the setup window by keep hitting Next.
STEP 5: When prompted by Microsoft Visual C++ setup, click Install or Repair then close when done. If you are prompted with a Microsoft C++ error message, it may be caused by the fact that you already have the most recent version and that is ok.
STEP 6: Make sure you are logged in on the TAS Launch Pad with your username and password credentials. Have it authorized and click Minimize To Tray. Click Finish on the setup window which displays Installation Successful.
