THE PROBLEM: User is logged in to the TAS Launch Pad and when attempting to add the TAS Indicators to the chart in NinjaTrader 7, indicators does not show on the chart.
THE CAUSE: During installation of the TAS Indicators, the files were installed correctly but does not match what NinjaTrader 7 version (32-bit or 64-bit) the user is running. There are 2 version of NinjaTrader 7, the 32-bit and 64-bit and at the same time the TAS Indicators installer has 32-bit and 64-bit versions to match the platform.
THE CURE: Follow the step-by-step instructions provided below to reinstall the TAS Indicators into the correct version to match NinjaTraders 7 version.
STEP 1: Reinstall TAS Indicators Into Correct Version Matching NT7 Version
- Revisit the indicator installation page for NinjaTrader 7 at https://www.marketprofileindicators.com/p/ninjatrader_install
There are 2 TAS installer version and NinjaTrader 7 version 32-bit and 64-bit.
- for NinjaTrader 7 64-bit, select DOWNLOAD 64-Bit Version for NinjaTrader 7 button
- for NinjaTrader 7 32-bit, select DOWNLOAD 32-Bit Version for NinjaTrader 7 button
- Run the installer again (no need to uninstall prior one)
STEP 2: Continue through installation
Continue to press next, install Microsoft C++ runtime until finished. If you are prompted with a Microsoft C++ error message, it may be caused by the fact that you already have the most recent version and that is ok.
STEP 3: Finish Installation
Login to the TAS Launch Pad. Once the status shows green and AUTHORIZED, you may again attempt to add TAS Indicators on your NinjaTrader 7 chart.
